Casita de las Flores offers San Miguel de Allende's value accommodations — a lovely, peaceful, and comfortable ambiance at low prices.
Casita details:
The rooms are good-sized and full of natural light. Each room has a desk, chair, ceiling fan, heater, and a window and door that open onto the patio. The bathrooms are simple but clean. (Hot water 24 hours a day.) The kitchen/dining room is large, sunny and stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils—everything you might need to prepare and serve a meal.
Breakfast is served whenever you feel like making it. (We're not exactly a Bed & Breakfast—we're more of a Bed & Kitchen-You-Can-Use-Any-Time-You-Want.)
Common areas are cleaned six times a week. Bathrooms are cleaned daily. (Naturally, guests do their own dishes and clean up after themselves in common areas).
Rooms are tidied daily and linens are change once per week (more often by special arrangement—please let us know when you reserve).
Security—BYOL: The Casita is quite secure, but we do provide lockboxes for guest use. We no longer provide locks, as they keep departing with guests. If you’d like to use the lockbox, please bring a lock with you or be prepared to buy an inexpensive one here.

*Holiday/Fiesta Rates: US $49 a night, for one or two people
High Season:
* January, February, March, and July.
* High season daily rates are US $5 more per night. Please
ask us about high season monthly rates.
* Rates are higher during fiestas, holidays, and peak season.
* Discounts are offered during May.
* Lost sets of keys incur a US $8.00 fee.
* There is a small extra fee if you would like heat in your room during cold months.
Deposits:
Reservations cannot be made without prepayment or a deposit. (The reservation request form is only a request. Reservations are made via follow-up emails.)
Advance reservations are made exclusively via email.
Deposit policies:
7 nights or less: We need full payment in order to reserve.
More than 7 nights: We need 7 days or 50 percent (50%) of your total stay as a deposit, whichever is greater.
*The balance of your payment is due upon arrival at the Casita, so, please bring the balance with you in US dollars, pesos, or traveler’s checks.
Payment Options
* We do not accept personal checks, postal orders, or money orders.
Payments can be made in three ways:
1) Credit card (via a secure online credit card payment service—the service charges 3% for US credit cards, 4% for cards from other countries.) We must initiate the payment, so let us know if you want to pay by credit card.
2) Wire/money transfer to our U.S. bank account (our bank does not charge a fee to receive money transfers, but your bank might charge a fee to send one.) Let us know, and we’ll send you the appropriate info.
3) Western Union to our Mexican bank (there are no additional fees on this end). Let us know, and we’ll send you the appropriate info.
To Reserve:
If you wish to book a room, please click the reserve button and fill out a reservation request form (this does not reserve your room, it is only a request). We will get back to you promptly with availability and rates.
*By sending us a payment or deposit, you agree to the terms of our refund and cancellation policies and you accept that if you do not show up to claim your room, or fail to contact us when you arrive, you forfeit your deposit.
Cancellations/Refunds
Because we have only five rooms and very low prices, we have to try to keep the rooms full at all times. So, if your plans should change, we need as much notice as possible in order to re-rent the room(s) and get you the applicable refund.
Refund Policies:
Sixty days (or more) in advance of arrival date: Full refund, minus a US $30 processing fee.
Less than 60 days in advance of arrival date: Refund of the rate paid only for whatever dates we are able to re-rent, minus the $30 USD processing fee. Deposits and payments are forfeited for any dates that cannot be re-rented.
If you have to cancel less than 60 days before:
So that we can get you as much of a refund as possible, please let us know as soon as you know you will not be able to come. We will begin trying to re-rent your room(s) immediately. Then, please email us after your intended stay, and we will let you know what we were able to re-rent and send you the applicable refund.
